Order Processing and Store Policies
Processing times and shipping times are NOT the same. They must be added together.
Ready to ship items that are ordered in conjunction with "MADE TO ORDER" items will ship when the item(s) is finished being made. If you would like to get your ready to ship items(s) before the others please place that order separately and leave a note stating that's what you would like.
Please keep in mind that MOST of our products are made to order unless otherwise stated.

Returns/exchanges on ready to ship orders are accepted within 14 days of purchase. You must contact us before returning the order to make sure the order is in fact eligible for return. All yarn must be in the original hank and the yarn label must be in tact. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless a mistake was made on our end.
Returns are accepted on made to order, pre-order or dyed to order. However, a 50% restocking fee will apply, to cover time and materials used to make your order. Meaning we will only refund you 50% of the total cost of the order.
If there is a problem with your order please do not hesitate to contact us. We will do our very best to resolve the issue.
Order cancelations must be made within 3 DAYS from the date your order was placed. When orders are placed we then purchase the materials to make your order. After a week the order may not be cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Shipping is FREE on all domestic orders over $150.00
All ready to ship orders typically ship in 1-3 business days. Orders will not ship on Holidays or weekends.
Pre-order yarn and dyed to order yarn can take up to 4 weeks to ship. There is a chance it could be less than that.

ThreadHead Knits Co is under no circumstances responsible for lost or stolen packages. In the event your package is lost during transit please contact your local post or follow the tracking information that was provided when you received your shipping notification. We cannot obtain any more information on a lost package than the addressee can. Any claims are the responsibility of the buyer and can be made through usps.com. It is highly recommended to have your order shipped priority mail because insurance will automatically be provided.
In the event that the name and address you provide is not correct and package gets returned to us you will be responsible for the cost to re-ship the package back to you. So please make sure your name and address are typed in correctly.
All packages shipped from us are marked as merchandise and will have the full value listed on the customs form. Any customs charges accrued will be the customers responsibility. Shipping will not be refunded if the customer refuses to accept the package.
All of our yarn is dyed using professional grade dyes in small batches of 2-5 skeins at a time. We thoroughly wash all our yarn and soak it in a wool wash before drying it. Please be aware that some light bleeding may occur when you wash your knits for the first time. Using cool water and wool wash should lessen the chances of this happening. Always dry flat and do not put knits in the dryer.
